On the 4th October (the Monday of the long weekend) we took our 4WD's up to Sunn Corner State Forest and got them muddy, and a couple of us made it up a huge rocky hill, much to our surprise! A good day was had by all. Most of these pics, despite them coming from Blacky's camera, came from the efforts of Kimberly, definitely getting her head around 4WD photography! Thanks babe!

On Saturday the 12/2/11 the 4WD arm of the CACA took its first trip of the year to the famous but unforgiving Stockton Beach north of Newcastle. Alot of fun was had by all and a lot of new experience was had by some that hd not driven in dunes before. All in all - bring on the next 4WD trip!

Our first Ansel Park event for 2011 (rescheduled after heavy rains a few weeks earlier). Fun was had by all, even with the retirement of a certain Datsun and a certain Celica. Congratulations to Peter Wood for taking 1st outright in his VW Special, ahead of Raoul Corry in the tiny but mighty Swift and Stephen Collins in the turbo'd Pulsar rounding out the top 3.
Special mention must go to Josh Boesel, the first Junior taking out the JN class at an amazing 8th outright, just edging out Laura Pennington. Well done to the both of them, again proving age is not requisite for driving talent. -

A dusty and dry warmish day was host to a great fun day sliding through where the trees used to be at Cataract. Well, there were still plenty of trees, and plenty of action!
