About 15 years ago I was down to co drive for a mate of mine in an LA Lancer in the WA bush. Being Mundaring, and raining all the week before the event was canned. I was gutted. And I had not had another opportunity until this weekend to experience first hand the joys of pace noting.

I wasn’t even going to enter.

It was 2 minutes into the drivers briefing and I realised that I had got someone to drive the Excel out to Ansell Park, and despite the fact that the driveshafts were making a horrible noise I thought ‘what the heck’.  I had towed the club trailer out to the event as it resides in my front yard, hence the requirement to get someone to drive the Excel out to Ansell.

The Long Weekend 2nd of October 4WD trip, has been changed to the Public Holiday Monday 4th of October.

Come along as, it should be a great day out.

Christian Autosport's second Khanacross for the year started a little colder, but in otherwise similar fashion. With 26 entrants and all range of experience in all range of cars it was sure to be an interesting day.

If you have not run at Cataract before or even recently then come and have a run on the day. You will definitely enjoy yourself. All CACA members will shortly receive the supp regs by email.
